Read on 2026-09-03. Dubsado is well regarded for its power and flexibility; these are the recurring criticisms, and most are the cost of that same flexibility.
The gap: SEO / content pipeline: brief to draft to publish to measure
Dubsado will let you build almost any internal process you can describe. What it will not do is give you a process for the part that happens before a lead exists - there is no keyword work, no brief, no content, no measurement in the advertised feature list. So the most configurable tool in the category still leaves the top of your funnel entirely unconfigured, and typically outsourced. The irony is specific to Dubsado: the customers who invest most in building their internal system are exactly the ones who notice that no amount of that work produces a single additional enquiry.

Dubsado Premier is $525/year. Add Surfer Standard at $99/month billed yearly - $1,188/year - and the combined bill is $1,713/year across two logins. RSC Core ($45) + the Growth pack ($35) is $80 per user / month billed annually - $960 per user / year, one login.
