Read on 2026-09-03. Dubsado is well regarded for its power and flexibility; these are the recurring criticisms, and most are the cost of that same flexibility.
The gap: AI-visibility / AEO citation tracking (ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews)
Dubsado's strength is that you can model your own workflow in it. AI-search visibility is not a workflow problem though - it is an observation problem about a surface outside your business entirely, and no amount of form-building inside Dubsado can see it. This is one of the few gaps their customisability genuinely cannot close, which is worth saying plainly for a product where the usual answer is 'you can probably build that'.

Where RSC is behind Dubsado, or has not built it yet

- Dubsado's published annual entry price is lower than RSC Core plus the Growth pack. If price is the deciding factor and you do not need the growth side, Dubsado is cheaper.
- Dubsado is more configurable than RSC. If your process is genuinely unusual, their form and workflow builder will bend further than ours.
- RSC is younger and pre-launch; Dubsado has a long track record.
- RSC cannot yet send review requests, and our AI-visibility and competitor-intelligence engines are only partly built.
